Come one, come all, to the annual Capital University Creative Arts Workshop! We know it might be a stretch, but thought maybe someone on this email list would be interested in:

- Studio Tracking and Mixing
- Video Game Audio
- Electronic Music Production
- Network Audio
- Keyboards, Synth, and Pedals
Sounds like fun, right?
AES members have a strong presence at the Creative Arts Workshop this year, and our section will gather after the Workshop. Details on where soon to follow.

Paul Kavicky – Hands-on with the 808 10am – 10:45; repeats 11am – 11:45 Convergent Media Center, Music Tech Lab
Locals know the mad synth scientist, Paul Kavicky, from his live sound work at our beautiful CAPA theatres, his work on touring Broadway shows, or from working with him at Paper Street Audio. On a personal note, he fixed our Roland Juno Alpha II, which is quite a skill when you stop to think about it. We earnestly look forward to Paul’s 808 workshop.

AES member John Esterly, of Rare Buzz, has been crucial to our area with his hands-on workshops and mentorships in sky’s-the-limit pedal building. His work reminds us of what Audio Builders Workshop created through the AES Boston section. We are quite proud of Esterly’s involvement in our section.
